Job Overview

As an AI/ML Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of AI and machine learning models and solutions. You will lead a team of talented data scientists, engineers, and analysts, ensuring the successful delivery of AI/ML projects that meet our clients' needs. Your role will involve strategic planning, project management, and hands-on technical work. 


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Define and execute the AI/ML strategy in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML projects, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to identify and prioritize AI/ML opportunities.
  • Develop and implement best practices for AI/ML model development, testing, and deployment.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and incorporate them into projects as appropriate.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of AI/ML solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders at various levels.



Qualifications


  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading AI/ML teams and projects, with a strong track record of successful deliveries.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools.
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Contributions to the AI/ML community through publications, open-source projects, or conference presentation
