Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design, implementation, optimization, and support of our SAP FICO module. As a subject matter expert, you will provide guidance and direction to ensure our financial processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the SAP FICO module within [S/4HANA (if applicable)]
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Operations) to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions
  • Analyze complex business processes and configure the system to optimize financial controls and reporting
  • Manage the FICO configuration lifecycle, including change management, testing, and deployment
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, etc.)
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge transfer and skill development
  • Stay abreast of the latest SAP FICO trends, updates, and best practices
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process automation to improve efficiency
  • Provide expert guidance and support to end-users on FICO functionalities and processes

Qualifications:

  • 12-20 years of experience in SAP FICO, with a strong focus on the finance domain (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Management, Cost Accounting)
  • Proven experience leading and managing SAP FICO implementations or ongoing support projects in a complex environment (Manufacturing, IT, FMCG, or Consulting background preferred)
  • Certified SAP FICO professional (e.g., SAP FICO Consultant Certification)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (US GAAP, IFRS, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Education:

  • CA, M.Com, MBA, CMA would be highly preferred
