Responsibilities :

- Member of MCO's Platform Monitoring team

- Responsible for actively monitoring MCO's SaaS infrastructure, site reliability and its efficient operation on a 5x24 basis.

- Configuring, tuning, and managing MCO's application and infrastructure monitoring and observability tools (Datadog)

- Design and implement monitoring solutions using Datadog to track the health, performance, and availability of our platform and services.

- Implement monitoring of infrastructure, Database & applications using Datadog

- Configure and customize Datadog monitoring Agents, dashboards, alerts, and integrations based on the specific needs of the platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather monitoring requirements and implement best practices for monitoring.

- Analyse monitoring data and provide insights to improve the performance and reliability of the platform.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Datadog monitoring-related issues in a timely manner.

- Stay updated on the latest developments in monitoring technologies and best practices and

incorporate them into our monitoring strategy.

- Real-time and regular reporting on system performance

- Individual contribution to establish the Platform Monitoring team as a high performing group.

- Experience with Yaml & Linux is a plus.

Experience and Skills Required :

- Experience of any or all the following will be beneficial.

- 5-8 years' experience in IT operations and Monitoring tools with 24/7 high availability

- Strong experience with platform monitoring tools, particularly Datadog (1-2 Years)

- Proficiency in configuring and customizing Datadog monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and integrations.

- Solid understanding of monitoring concepts and best practices.

- People and communication skills to identify and highlight potential incidents.

- Working with multiple teams and systems to analyse incidents and helping find solutions.

- Experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace or New Relic will be added advantage.

- Working knowledge of cloud hosting on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

- Linux (RedHat / Oracle), Apache, JBoss EAP
