Description :Job Title : Control-M EngineerWork Location : BengaluruExperience : 8 - 10 YearsJob Description :Role Overview :We are seeking an experienced Control-M Scheduler to design, build, test, and support complex batch scheduling solutions across both Distributed and Mainframe environments.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Control-M (including EM, Control-D, and Control-B), deep knowledge of Z/OS, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities :- Design, build, and test robust Control-M schedules for Distributed and Mainframe systems.- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand and implement complex business requirements.- Perform technical reviews, process analysis, and identify areas for automation and efficiency.- Develop and maintain in-house automation tools and utilities.- Provide batch support for both Mainframe and Distributed Control-M environments.- Ensure adherence to Change Management, Incident Management, and scheduling standards.- Maintain procedural documentation for operational excellence.- Mentor junior team members and share technical best practices.Required Skills & Experience (Must Have) :- Proven experience in managing large, complex, integrated environments.- Strong hands-on expertise in : - Control-M EM (Distributed) scheduling. - Control-M, Control-D, and Control-B (Mainframe) scheduling. - IBM Mainframe (Z/OS) including JES2, ISPF, TSO, JCL, REXX, Connect :Direct, FileAid. - Endeavor code management tool.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite.- Solid understanding of Risk and Change Management processes.- Strong analytical skills for process and workflow analysis.Good To Have Skills :- ServiceNow (Change and Incident Management modules).- JIRA for project and issue tracking.- Automation scripting experience (e.g., REXX, Python, PowerShell).- Reporting and Analysis experience for batch operations.- Knowledge of SharePoint / DocShare for documentation and collaboration.
