Position Overview:
As a Autonomous Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of next-generation autonomous technologies for our electric tractors. You will be at the heart of a dynamic team of engineers and AI specialists, designing, implementing, and optimizing the most advanced autonomous systems in agriculture. This role will challenge you to push the boundaries of robotics, AI, and machine learning, creating solutions that have the potential to reshape the future of farming.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of autonomous vehicle systems with a focus on perception, localization, and path planning to enhance tractor efficiency and autonomy.
- Drive the integration and testing of hardware and software components, ensuring seamless functionality and high performance of our autonomous systems.
- Conduct advanced field tests and iterative validation processes to refine and enhance system algorithms, ensuring our tractors meet the highest standards of reliability and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Document and communicate technical strategies, breakthroughs, and methodologies for both internal stakeholders and external partners, contributing to our growing knowledge base and reputation as industry leaders.
- Stay ahead of industry advancements by continuously learning, experimenting, and incorporating the latest technologies and methodologies into our development processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Proven experience in developing autonomous systems, with a strong foundation in robotics, AI, machine learning, and sensor integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar, with hands-on experience in real-world autonomous vehicle projects.
- In-depth knowledge of robotic systems, perception algorithms, localization techniques, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, a passion for solving complex problems, and a desire to drive innovation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and work collaboratively across disciplines.
