Position: Assistant Professor

Department: Medical and Allied Health Sciences

Reporting To: Head of the Department / Dean

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures, practicals, and tutorials as per the academic curriculum.
• Develop course material and continuously update academic content to reflect current knowledge.
• Guide students in academic and research activities including projects and seminars.
• Conduct internal assessments, maintain academic records, and assist in student evaluation.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental activities, and university events.
• Engage in clinical teaching and supervision (if applicable to medical/clinical programs).
• Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and outreach activities.
• Undertake minor research projects or participate in ongoing departmental research.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in relevant Allied Health or Medical field (minimum), with first class.
• Ph.D. desirable or required as per UGC/Regulatory Council norms.
• Must meet eligibility as per the norms of UGC/AICTE/NMC/INC/Allied Health Councils.

Experience:

• 0–3 years of teaching or clinical experience (post-qualification).

Position: Associate Professor

Department: Medical and Allied Health Sciences

Reporting To: Head of the Department / Dean

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with advanced teaching methodologies.
• Guide undergraduate and postgraduate research, dissertations, and projects.
• Lead curriculum design, evaluation, and academic quality improvements.
• Mentor junior faculty members and participate in faculty development.
• Publish research articles in reputed journals; apply for research grants.
• Coordinate with clinical/industry partners for training or internship programs.
• Contribute to accreditation and regulatory compliance processes.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in relevant field is mandatory.
• Master's degree in the concerned subject with consistently good academic record.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years (5 – 8 years) of teaching/research/clinical experience in a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise research and publications.

Position: Professor

Department: Medical and Allied Health Sciences

Reporting To: Dean / Principal

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide academic leadership in teaching, curriculum innovation, and research.
• Supervise Ph.D./PG dissertations and foster a research-oriented environment.
• Lead departmental administration, policy formulation, and quality assurance.
• Attract research funding and develop industry/clinical linkages.
• Represent the department in national/international academic forums.
• Lead efforts for accreditation, program assessment, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor faculty and contribute to institutional strategic planning.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in a relevant Medical or Allied Health Science discipline is mandatory.
• Demonstrated academic excellence and subject expertise.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years (5 – 8 years) of teaching, research, or professional experience in a reputed institution, including at least 3 years as Associate Professor.
• Proven record of research publications, projects, and academic leadership.
