About the Job:

Birlasoft is seeking a skilled Reporting Analyst with a strong command of PL/SQL and a basic understanding of Core HCM (Human Capital Management) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing HR-related reports, documents using PL/SQL queries and integrating data from our Core HCM platform.


Title: Oracle HCM Reporting Analyst

Location: Noida/Pune/Mumbai/Hyderabad/Bangalore/Chennai/Coimbatore

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, modify, and optimize complex PL/SQL queries to extract and analyze HR data from various systems.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver standard and ad-hoc reports & Letters for HR and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to understand their data reporting needs and provide accurate and timely data-driven insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards.
  • Support the HR department by providing insights and recommendations based on analysis of HCM data.
  • Work closely with the IT department to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies or technical issues in the reporting processes.
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and validating system updates or new HCM functionalities to ensure continuous system performance.
  • Familiarity with BI publisher, OTBI, Oracle FDI is an added advantage

Skill Required:

  • Strong experience with PL/SQL (writing queries, scripts, and stored procedures).
  • Familiarity with relational databases and data structures.
  • Basic understanding of Core HCM (Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar systems) functionality and processes.
  • Experience with reporting tools (such as BI Tools, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar reporting or data analysis role, preferably within an HR environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with non-technical and technical teams.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
