Position Title: Senior Manager - Embedded Systems (Firmware Design) Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication or related field. Experience: 5 - 10 years Work Location: Navi Mumbai (Mahape) Key Responsibility: * Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using Embedded C. * Work with Linux-based embedded systems and RTOS environments like FreeRTOS. * Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineering. * Debug and optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and safety. * Document design specifications, code, and test procedures. Required Skills: * 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development. * Proficiency in Embedded C programming. * Strong experience with Linux and FreeRTOS in embedded environments. * Solid understanding of the embedded development life cycle and best practices. * Experience with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Good to Have: * Experience working on motor protection applications, Motor Control Unit, Feeder relays. * Knowledge of functional safety standards. * Exposure to cybersecurity in embedded systems (e.g., secure boot, encryption, secure communication). * Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, UART.
