Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager for Bids and Proposals to join our team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing bids and proposals processes, with a focus on delivering high-quality submissions. Experience in utilizing the GEM portal is essential, and knowledge of the drone industry would be advantage. The candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our bid strategies and enhancing our proposal capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end bids and proposals process, from identifying opportunities to submission and post-submission activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales, technical teams, finance, to gather necessary information and ensure alignment on bid requirements.
- Create proposals and bids that effectively communicates our value proposition and address client needs.
- Develop and maintain a repository of bid content, including templates, case studies, and technical documentation, to streamline future submissions.
- Utilize the GEM portal for tendering processes, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Conduct thorough reviews of bid documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform bid strategies and enhance our competitive positioning.
- Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and contributing to the development of capture plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (5-7 years) in managing bids and proposals, preferably in a technology or engineering-driven industry.
- Expertise in utilizing the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal for tendering processes is essential.
- Familiarity with the drone industry and associated regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.
