Overview:

As a Project Engineer at MGPRO, a leading commercial kitchen and bar equipment manufacturer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the technical and commercial aspects of our projects. You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of projects from conception through completion, aligning technical solutions with business objectives, and delivering unparalleled value to our clients in the hospitality sector across India.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the stipulated time frame and budget.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Prepare equipment drawings in CAD (2D and 3D) as per BOQ and specifications sheet received.
  • Prepare detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting, to guide project execution.

Technical Solutions Development:

  • Work closely with the design and manufacturing teams to develop and implement technical solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in commercial kitchen and bar equipment to drive innovation within the company.

Client Consultation and Support:

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between MGPRO and clients, providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Understand client needs and translate them into actionable project goals and objectives, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Conduct post-installation follow-ups with clients to gather feedback and ensure the equipment meets or exceeds expectations.

Cost Management and Budgeting:

  • Monitor project expenditures and cost projections, making adjustments as necessary to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to identify cost-effective purchasing solutions for materials and services without compromising on quality.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Oversee the quality control processes for projects, ensuring all products and installations comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement risk management practices to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, technical drawings, and client communications, for record-keeping and reference.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Proven experience in a project engineering role, preferably in the commercial kitchen equipment sector or a related industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude with an understanding of commercial kitchen and bar equipment design and functionality.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, capable of working with diverse teams and clients.
  • Preparing CAD drawings is an absolute must as a key skill.
