As a Senior Apigee Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Apigee API platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design API solutions, and implement them using Apigee Edge.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure Apigee API platforms. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective API solutions. - Implement API proxies, security measures, and policies using Apigee Edge. - Troubleshoot and debug issues in the API infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the API design and functionality. - Optimize API performance and scalability by implementing best practices and leveraging caching and load balancing techniques. - Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in API management, Apigee, and related technologies. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, sharing best practices and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience as an Apigee Developer, with a strong understanding of API design and development. - Solid knowledge of Apigee Edge and its components, including API proxies, policies, and analytics. - Proficiency in implementing security measures such as OAuth, JWT, and encryption within Apigee Edge. - Strong understanding of RESTful API principles and best practices. - Experience with API management tools and technologies. - Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex API-related issues. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:- Apigee certification(s) or relevant certifications in API management. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for API customization and automation.Our team began working on this requirement immediately and has been actively sourcing resumes from day one.
