Job Title: Apigee Lead Location:Hyderabad Job Type:Full-TimeJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedApigee Leadto design, implement, and manage API solutions usingApigee Edge ,Apigee X , andApigee Hybridplatforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of API management, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), microservices architecture, and strong experience in driving digital transformation through scalable and secure API strategies.Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of API solutions usingApigee Edge ,Apigee Hybrid , andApigee X . Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the API team; drive best practices for API lifecycle management, governance, and security. Design and implement API proxies, policies, traffic management, security (OAuth, JWT, API Key), and developer portal configurations. Architect hybrid and multi-cloud API management solutions leveraging GCP and Apigee’s advanced capabilities. Collaborate with stakeholders (DevOps, security, application teams) to integrate Apigee with CI/CD pipelines and other enterprise systems. Support migration efforts from Apigee Edge to Apigee X and/or Hybrid. Define and enforce API governance, logging, monitoring, and analytics standards. Perform platform upgrades, security patches, and ensure high availability of the Apigee infrastructure.Required Skills and Qualifications: Expertise inApigee Edge ,Apigee X , andApigee Hybrid . Strong understanding of API protocols (REST, GraphQL), security standards (OAuth2, JWT), and traffic management. Proficient in designing and deploying APIs on Google Cloud Platform. Experience with Apigee analytics, monetization, and developer portal. Hands-on with Apigee policy creation using JavaScript, Python, and custom callouts. Experience integrating Apigee with IAM solutions and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Cloud Build. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Istio, and service mesh (for Hybrid deployments). Google Cloud Certified (Professional Cloud Architect or Apigee Certification) is a plus.
