Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly experienced and self-driven Senior PHP Developer with at least 9 years of hands-on experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining complex web applications.

The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter), a strong grasp of Core PHP, and proven experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

You will be responsible for architecting scalable backend solutions, integrating with APIs and third-party services, performance tuning, and managing cloud-based infrastructure to support robust and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using Core PHP and modern frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.

- Develop clean, reusable, and scalable code following industry best practices (SOLID, DRY, MVC, etc.

- Architect backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Implement and manage secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access control mechanisms.

- Create and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and queries in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent RDBMS.

- Perform database tuning, indexing, and caching strategies for optimal performance and data integrity.

- Deploy, configure, and manage applications on AWS or Azure cloud environments.
App Services, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Azure Functions

- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments (using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines).

- Monitor application health and performance using CloudWatch, New Relic, or equivalent APM tools.

- Implement cloud storage, serverless functions, auto-scaling, and failover strategies.

- Implement security best practices (input validation, output encoding, encryption, CSRF/XSS prevention, etc.

- Stay updated on the latest PHP and web security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).

- Ensure compliance with data protection laws (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) where applicable.

- Conduct peer code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to standards.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and collaborate within cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA).

Required Skills & Experience :

- 9+ years of strong hands-on experience in PHP development, including experience with Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, and Core PHP.

- Solid experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.

- Expertise in relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, with a strong understanding of normalization, joins, indexing, and optimization.

- Experience in cloud infrastructure and services :


a. AWS : EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch

b. Azure : App Services, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Azure Functions

- Strong knowledge of web server configurations (Apache, Nginx) and Linux server management.

- Good understanding of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and containerization (Docker is a plus).

- Deep knowledge of backend performance tuning, including memory management, query optimization, and asynchronous job handling (queues, workers).

- Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative mindset
