Job Title : Perl/Python Software Developer


Exp : 5-7


Job Description :


We seek a motivated and experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Perl scripting, Python programming, XML/XSLT transformations, and database technologies. You will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions to meet the needs of our global clients, maintaining and enhancing existing applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions.


Responsibilities :


- Develop and maintain software applications using Perl, Python, XML, XSLT, and database technologies.


- Design and implement data transformation processes using XML and XSLT.


- Write efficient, clean, and reusable code that complies with company standards and best practices.


- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other team members to understand the requirements and provide technical solutions.


- Perform database management tasks, including design, modifications, and performance tuning.


- Assist in the integration of new software and systems into existing environments.


- Maintain documentation for system processes and procedures.


- Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge and mentor junior developers.


Required Skills :


- Strong proficiency in Perl scripting and Python programming.


- Experience with XML technologies, including XML parsing and XSLT transformations.


- Good understanding of relational database management systems and SQL.


- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.


- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Additional Qualifications :


- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.


- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.
