Job Description :


We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Development Engineer - MEAN Stack to lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js, with proven leadership in guiding teams, optimizing performance, and delivering enterprise-grade solutions. This role requires a hands-on technologist who can balance technical execution, team mentorship, and solution design to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.


Key Responsibilities :


- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of web applications using the MEAN stack.

- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business requirements.

- Drive technical design discussions, define coding standards, and enforce best practices.

- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.

- Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering continuous learning and growth.

- Ensure test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD) practices.

- Optimize performance of front-end (Angular) and back-end (Node.js/Express) applications.

- Manage API design, integration, and third-party service consumption.

- Oversee database design, optimization, and performance tuning in MongoDB.

- Conduct regular code reviews, technical audits, and debugging to maintain high-quality

standards.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks, proposing adoption where beneficial.


Required Skills & Experience :


- 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior/lead

capacity.


- Strong expertise in MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).

- Hands-on experience in designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and deep understanding of asynchronous programming.

- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern UI frameworks.

- Experience in MongoDB data modeling, aggregation, indexing, and optimization.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Proven ability to deliver large-scale enterprise applications with a focus on performance,

scalability, and security.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging skills.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management Qualifications :


- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.


- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Git, and Jenkins.

- Knowledge of GraphQL, Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Mocha, Jest).

- Contributions to open-source projects or prior experience building SaaS-based platforms.
