About The Job :

We are seeking an experienced Product Specialist with deep expertise in Commercial Lines insurance products to join our team.

In this role, you will support the onsite Product Owner in analyzing ISO manuals, managing product backlogs, and ensuring successful implementation of commercial lines offerings such as Commercial Property, General Liability, CPP, Inland Marine, Crime, and Umbrella.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, business analysts, and IT to define requirements, validate testing, and drive user acceptance.

This is a strategic role ideal for someone with strong domain knowledge, analytical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality insurance solutions in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities :

- Support the onsite Product Owner in analyzing product models and ISO manuals for commercial lines offerings (Rates, Rules, and Forms).

- Manage the product backlog, document requirements, and provide clarifications and acceptance criteria.

- Collaborate with QA teams to define and review testing scenarios, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

- Review QA results and support business analysts in defining and executing UAT scenarios.

- Ensure successful UAT execution and manage defect triage processes.

- Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and IT teams for requirement definition, sign-off, and user acceptance testing.

- Provide regular progress updates and reports to stakeholders.

Requirements :

- 8 - 12 years of experience as a Business System Analyst in the commercial lines insurance domain.

- Strong expertise in ISO commercial lines product offerings, including rating and forms.

- 6+ years of hands-on experience implementing commercial lines products on Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter.

- Proven experience managing product backlogs, user story acceptance, and defect triage.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps (ADO).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience in stakeholder communication and progress reporting.

Good To Have :

- Experience working as a Product Owner.

- Strong understanding of Commercial Lines products such as Commercial Property, General Liability, CPP, Inland Marine, Crime, and Umbrella.
