The Assistant Dean of Administration plays a crucial role in managing and enhancing administrative operations at KLH University. Reports and collaborate closely with senior leadership to uphold institutional standards, optimize resources, and drive strategic initiatives aligned with our vision and goals.


About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Administrative Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership in the administration of university resources, policies, and procedures.
  • NAAC & UGC: Must take care of NAAC and UGC assessments, ensuring adherence to accreditation standards, preparation of reports, and implementation of recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Out-of-the-Box Thinking: Encourage and implement innovative approaches and creative solutions to address challenges and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budget planning, financial forecasting, and expenditure control to ensure efficient resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline administrative processes to improve effectiveness and operational efficiency across departments.
  • Facilities Management: Supervise facilities operations, maintenance, and development projects to maintain a safe, functional, and conducive campus environment.
  • Human Resources: Manage personnel activities including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development to cultivate a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and university policies, implementing strategies to mitigate risks and promote governance.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to support strategic initiatives, institutional goals, and accreditation requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting collaboration and a supportive university community.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making, monitor key performance indicators, and report on administrative outcomes to senior leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. degree from a university ranked within the top 50 in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive administrative experience in higher education, with demonstrated leadership and management capabilities or Similar experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budget development, and resource allocation practices.
  • Experience in coordinating NAAC and UGC assessments, familiarity with accreditation processes, and quality assurance in higher education.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and best practices in higher education administration.
