Position Overview – Provider Enterprise Architect

As an Enterprise Architect in the provider domain, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic and technical direction of the organization's IT landscape. You will design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, scalability, and industry best practices. This position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare provider ecosystem, including clinical systems, administrative workflows, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years in the healthcare provider domain.
  • Proven experience with healthcare IT systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid environments.
  • Experience with AI/ML applications in healthcare, such as predictive analytics and personalized medicine.
  • Understanding of population health management and value-based care models.
  • Skills:
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Strong knowledge of interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) and healthcare workflows.
  • Proficiency in architecture tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx EA).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Job Description: Enterprise Architect (Payer Domain)

Position Overview:

As an Enterprise Architect in the payer domain, you will be responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of enterprise-level technology solutions that align with the strategic objectives of the organization. You will ensure that systems and processes are scalable, secure, and compliant with regulatory requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare payer landscape, including claims processing, member engagement, provider networks, and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years in the healthcare payer domain.
  • Strong understanding of core payer systems (e.g., claims processing, eligibility and enrollment, provider network management).
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid architectures.
  • Skills:
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Proficiency in healthcare standards (e.g., EDI, X12, HL7, FHIR).
  • Experience with modern technologies like microservices, APIs, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Architect).
  • Experience with value-based care models, population health management, and risk adjustment systems.
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Snowflake).
