Job Description


We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Network Security Specialist to join our dynamic Network Security team. This specialist will be responsible for securing our cloud infrastructure, managing cloud-based security solutions, and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud security practices, network security protocols, and cloud service providers.


Key Responsibilities:


Cloud Security Management:

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud security architectures for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
  • Configure and maintain cloud security tools, such as Native and OEM firewalls, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption solutions, Route Tables and Peering's.
  • Manage the allocation of IP Schema and VNET/VPC or Multi-cloud Topology.
  • Manage the MPLS/Direct Connect/Express Route Circuits
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices for cloud environments.


Network Security:

  • Manage and optimize network security configurations of virtual networks, and subnets within cloud environments.
  • Implement and maintain network segmentation and zoning to enforce security boundaries.
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.


Threat Prevention and Incident Response:

  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement threat detection and prevention measures, including intrusion detection systems (IDS) and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
  • Implement Micro Segmentation with NSG/SG
  • Develop and execute incident response plans for cloud-based security incidents.


Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO/IEC 27001 or required benchmarks.
  • Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and configurations.
  • Perform regular audits and assessments to verify compliance with security requirements.


Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with DevOps, IT, and application teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on cloud security best practices.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of cloud security solutions and vendors.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in network security or cloud security roles.
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, Google and Oracle Cloud Platforms).


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in configuring and managing cloud security tools and services.
  • Strong understanding of network security protocols, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Experience with IAM, encryption, and key management in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripts (e.g., FireMon, AlgoSec, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell).


Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent certification.
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
  • Other relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Cloud+
