Position : Data Engineer / Managed Service

Work Location : Pune/ Hyderabad / Gurgaon / Hybrid

Experience : 5+ Years

Must have Skills :

- Experience working with large data sets, building an optimising pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.

- Experience with investigating variety of data frequencies (streaming, batch), formats (JSON, Parquet, CSV) and schemas (structured, semi-structured, unstructured).

- Excellent experience with SQL and T-SQL programming.

- Proven experience using databricks i.e. Lake house, Delta live tables, Pyspark etc.

- Strong experience utilising the Microsoft Azure stack for data engineering (Azure data factory, Data lakes).

- Proficiency in version control systems (Azure DevOps / Git) and experience with CI/CD.

- Experience with scripting languages such as Python

Good to Have : Data Engineering certifications from Microsoft or Databricks technologies (Desirable).

Role & Responsibilities :

- Oversee the smooth and efficient execution of production data loading pipelines.

- Optimise and tune existing data infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Implement data governance and security measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to data workflows.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation

- Ensure data lake readiness and health check, and support reporting & cost optimization.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation

- Coordinate resolution to any changes with other immediate and wider team members

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
