Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts.

Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain various financial reports and records.

Month-End Closings:

  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in a timely and accurate manner.

Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in all financial records.

Taxation and Compliance:

  • Stay current on company laws, taxation policies, and regulatory changes.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.

GST Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations.
  • Prepare and submit GST returns as required.

Software Proficiency:

  • Possess advanced knowledge of Tally Software for efficient record-keeping.
  • Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions and generate reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CA Inter preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of GST, company laws, and taxation.
  • Proficiency in using Tally Software.

Skills:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
