Responsibilities :

- Architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines with robust data quality controls for analytics and BI consumption.

- Demonstrate leadership and mentoring experience.

- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability data applications and recommend innovative engineering solutions.

- Optimize data solutions in enterprise data warehouses, focusing on cloud migration.

- Process structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data using batch and real-time frameworks.

- Partner with team members to understand data challenges and design viable solutions.

- Research and apply emerging data science principles and techniques.

- Develop BI dashboards and reports based on internal and external customer needs.

- Test and maintain the efficiency and reliability of data pipelines and warehouses.

- Work in a hybrid cloud ecosystem with AWS, Postgres, MySQL, and on-premises technologies.

- Lead incident investigations and influence team :

- 5+ years of experience implementing end-to-end data pipelines.

- Hands-on experience with data models, data management, and data quality.

- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.

- Experience implementing data pipelines using Spark (preferred), Apache Airflow (preferred),

Azure Data Factory, Glue ETL, and Lambda.

- Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases : Apache Cassandra (preferred), Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, RedShift, OpenSearch.

- Experience in data modeling, warehouse design, and fact/dimension implementations.

- Programming experience in Python (required), Spark, PySpark, Java, JavaScript, and/or Scala.

- Experience writing unit tests for data pipelines using frameworks like pytest or unittest.

- Experience with BI solutions such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Experience with Agile Scrum development and collaboration tools (JIRA, Rally).

- Ability to triage and resolve incidents.

- Data engineering certification (a plus).
