Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer / BI Engineer with expertise in designing ETL/ELT pipelines, managing databases, and creating impactful dashboards using Power BI. This role involves managing end-to-end data workflows - from extraction and transformation to visualization and insights generation. You will be part of a modern Data & AI Engineering team building an industry-transforming product.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Airflow, and SQL to manage and optimize data lake and data warehouse solutions in an AWS environment.

- Extract and integrate data from third-party APIs (REST, JSON), optimizing queries for performance and database efficiency.

- Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports in Power BI as per stakeholder requirements.

- Conduct data profiling and source system analysis to ensure data quality and integrity.

- Validate and assess the accuracy of data outputs before delivery, ensuring alignment with business expectations.

- Evaluate and suggest optimal technical approaches within the broader system and business context.

- Implement best practices in data engineering, architecture, and analysis for continuous :

- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipeline development, and data warehouse management (AWS).

- Strong expertise in SQL (T-SQL, MS SQL) with query optimization and database performance tuning.

- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and Apache Airflow for ETL/ELT processes.

- Experience with third-party API data extraction and management (REST, JSON).

- Strong skills in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation.

- Critical thinking ability to evaluate technical solutions in context of architecture and business

goals.

- Strong communication skills and familiarity with agile Qualifications :

- Experience with AWS data services : Redshift, Athena, Lambda, Glue.

- Familiarity with additional BI tools such as Tableau or QlikSense.

- Knowledge of data lake architectures and best practices.

- Experience with AI-driven analytics or integrating AI models into BI Skills :
