Job Overview : Blue Spire is looking for a Senior Android Developer to work with a banking domain customer. The candidate should have strong experience in Android development, secure coding, and working with custom SDKs or building SDK components.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin/Java.Work closely with Blue Spire’s banking customer to understand requirements and deliver secure, compliant solutions.Develop and integrate Android SDKs, ensuring reusability and modularity.Work with clean architecture frameworks like MVVM or MVI.Integrate secure APIs and ensure adherence to banking standards.Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high app responsiveness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Backend, QA, UX, Product).Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.Ensure compliance with security and data-protection guidelines.Required Skills & Experience:6+ years of professional Android development experience.Strong expertise in Kotlin and good knowledge of Java.Hands-on experience in building or integrating Android SDKs.Experience working in banking/financial domain (preferred).Strong knowledge of Android Jetpack components, Coroutines, and modern app architecture.Expertise in REST APIs, JSON parsing, and secure communication protocols.Strong understanding of mobile security, encryption, and secure coding standards.Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.Good experience with Unit Testing and testing frameworks.Good to Have:Experience with Jetpack Compose.Exposure to Firebase, crash analytics, and monitoring tools.Knowledge of performance optimization tools.Experience with Play Store deployment and release management.
