Role Description :

We are looking for a Deployment Engineer / DevOps Specialist with 3-5 years of experience managing in-house server environments and virtualized infrastructures. The role focuses more on Linux-based on-premise systems, virtual machines, and open-source technologies rather than cloud-first Responsibilities :

- Own and manage builds/releases across environments (Dev, QA, Pre-Prod, Prod).

- Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and other open-source tools.

- Automate deployments using Bash, Shell, or Python scripting.

- Administer web/application servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat).

- Deploy, configure, and monitor open-source components (MySQL, Redis, Docker, Logstash, Postfix, q-mail).

- Troubleshoot and resolve build/release issues in Java-based applications.

- Implement branching, merging, and release strategies in Git.

- Perform system performance tuning, scalability improvements, and log monitoring.

- Document build/release procedures, configurations, and deployment Skills & Experience :

- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps / Deployment Engineering.

- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting expertise.

- Hands-on experience with virtual machines (VMware, KVM, VirtualBox, or similar).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, JFrog, etc.).

- Knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and caching systems (Redis).

- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Shell, Python).

- Experience deploying applications on Tomcat and managing web servers.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools and log aggregation frameworks.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving :

- B.Tech/BE/MS/M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or related field.
