Senior Manager-Reinsurance

Responsibilities:
- Ensure Regulatory as well as internal compliance with regards to facultative transactions.
- Monitor the financial ratings of the re-insurers and keep a tab on the developments in Reinsurance market.
- Seeking the profitability from the accounts managed.
- Data analysis and maintenance of MIS (summary of Company surplus treaties entered into by the company) on monthly and quarterly basis.
- Liaise with the Reinsurance markets and brokers worldwide market and negotiate on the reinsurance terms, price and best possible coverage.
- Handling the minimum deposit payment, proportional and non-proportional payments/recoveries.
- Coordinating with banks and processing the payment on time.
- Follow up for settlement of payment from reinsurance team.
- Reconciling balances of all Lines of Businesses (such as Fire, Motor, Health and Engineering insurance) with regards to premium, commission and claims.
- Handling service tax payment and tracking the same by maintaining a service tax tracker.
- Parking of routine payment and receipt entries in SAP.
- Preparing outstanding paid and change in reserve claims on a monthly basis.
- Preparing Regulatory Reports as per the IRDA Guidelines.
Candidate Profile : CA-3+ years experience or MBA Finance with 6+ years experience working into Reinsurance vertical/department.
