Role Description

Network and Server Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the local and wide area networks of an organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. The role can include Installing and maintaining servers, designing system configurations, documenting, and managing the installation of a new network, or new server and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary. Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP 


Qualifications

  • Install and configure software and hardware 
  • Windows Operating system installation/troubleshooting. 
  • Installation of networking equipment like switches, routers and firewalls (Fortinet). Manage the LAN& WAN. 
  • Manage network, servers and technology tools 
  • Hands-on experience with Office 365 installation and troubleshooting. 
  • Hands-on experience to Connect VC through Zoom, Teams, Meet and other applications. 
  • Set up Domain accounts and configure systems and workstations. 
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements 
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages 
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls 
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models 
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
