Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in Debt Syndication to originate and execute complex capital market transactions. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for deal origination, structuring, investor engagement, and execution of debt products across corporate finance mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Originate Debt Capital Market (DCM) transactions through group relationships and new Bclient acquisition.

- Syndicate and structure debt solutions, including term loans, acquisition finance, project finance, and other structured debt instruments.

- Conduct market scoping and o?er customized corporate finance products to target customers.

- Prepare detailed deal documents including industry analysis, commercial viability reports, financial models, and investor presentations.

- Develop and review key transaction materials: Business Plans, Information Memorandums, Credit Appraisal Notes, CMA data, projections, and due diligence reports.

- Maintain strong working relationships with a broad base of DCM investors including public/private banks, financial institutions, sovereign funds, and domestic mutual funds.

- Ensure smooth pre- and post-sanction processes including documentation and compliance with internal and bank credit policies.

- Liaise with banks to optimize cost of funds, resolve documentation issues, and ensure timely sanction and disbursal.

- Drive business growth by developing new banking and institutional relationships and strengthening existing ones.

- Assess creditworthiness and identify early signs of financial stress to mitigate risk and reduce delinquencies.

- Ensure alignment with compliance, legal, and internal control functions to meet TATs and regulatory requirements.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in debt syndication, credit underwriting, corporate banking, or structured finance.

- In-depth understanding of banking products, credit policies, restructuring norms, and debt resolution frameworks.

- Proven track record in managing complex DCM transactions and institutional investor relationships.

- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and documentation skills.

- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and team leadership abilities.

- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred.
