Autonomize - Business Analyst - Health Management Information System

Role Overview :The Healthcare Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, mapping business processes, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure that our solutions align with industry needs.This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, data structures, and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities :Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering :- Work closely with healthcare providers, payers, and internal teams to gather and document business requirements.- Analyze existing workflows and reimagine opportunities for AI-first process optimization.- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for development teams.Solution Implementation & Process Optimization :- Partner with product and engineering teams to define and validate AI solutions that align with healthcare industry standards.- Assist in the implementation of new features and process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.- Work on data mapping and integration requirements for interoperability with existing healthcare systems (EHRs, claims processing, etc.Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication :- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.- Develop and present business cases, process flows, and impact analyses to stakeholders.- Provide training and documentation to end-users to ensure successful adoption of AI-powered solutions.Data Analysis & Compliance :- Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA, CMS, etc.) when designing and implementing AI solutions.- Work with the data science and engineering teams to validate model outputs and enhance decision-making frameworks.Qualifications :- Experience: 4+ years in business analyst, product analyst/PM, or consulting roles in healthcare (provider, payer, or health tech).- Healthcare Expertise: Strong understanding of healthcare operations, including claims processing, prior authorization, provider workflows, and regulatory compliance.- Technical Acumen: Experience working with AI-driven solutions, data analysis, or healthcare IT systems (EHRs, HL7, FHIR, APIs).- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.- Basics of Project Management: Experience in Agile methodologies, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and working with development teams.- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Preferred: Experience with AI/ML applications in healthcare, SQL or Python for data analysis, and working in a startup or fast-paced environment.Why Join Us ?- Work at the intersection of AI and healthcare, shaping solutions that improve patient care and streamline operations.- Collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers, data scientists, and healthcare experts.- Opportunity for career growth as we rapidly scale and expand our impact.- A dynamic and innovative work environment where your contributions drive meaningful change.
