**Role Definition:**

The Production Engineer will be responsible for understanding and interpreting design release data and executing orders in coordination with cross-functional teams. This role includes working closely with the production, purchase, quality, and installation teams to ensure the seamless execution of projects from design to delivery.


### Key Responsibilities:


**Design Interpretation and Execution:**

- Understand and interpret design release data, including drawings, DXF files, and Bills of Materials (BOM).

- Ensure design specifications are accurately translated into production processes.

- Collaborate with the design team to clarify and resolve any design-related issues.


**Cross-Functional Coordination:**

- Work closely with the production team to ensure efficient manufacturing processes and timely order execution.

- Coordinate with the purchase team to ensure the availability of necessary materials and components.

- Collaborate with the quality team to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.

- Liaise with the installation team to ensure proper installation and delivery of products to clients.


**Process Management:**

- Develop, implement, and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

- Monitor and control production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.

- Identify and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.


**Continuous Improvement:**

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance production efficiency.

- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement corrective actions.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve production processes.


### Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of production processes, manufacturing techniques, and quality control methods within sheet metal fabrication

- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.


### Educational and Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- At least 1 year of experience in a production engineering role, preferably in the sheet metal manufacturing industry.

- Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and production management tools.


### Qualifications:

- Demonstrated ability to improve production processes and reduce costs.

- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
