About the Company With the increasingly dynamic and accelerating pace of consumer demand today, manufacturers have to introduce a much greater degree of flexibility into their processes to keep up. The current state of automation and robotics which enables many of these manufacturing processes, however does not allow for this versatility. Machines from different vendors each use their own proprietary programming interfaces, are not designed to easily speak with each other, and often require complex and customised programs to integrate them together. Being a robotics manufacturer ourselves once, we have been through these challenges and we understand how frustrating it can get. Our vendor agnostic software platform, syncOS is designed to seamlessly integrate different automation systems using a simple and intuitive no-code interface. We are a young and passionate team obsessed on chasing this vision to make the adoption of robotics and automation much simpler, and further help #automateasia.About the Role At Botsync, we are revolutionizing industrial automation by making automation more accessible and agile. We are looking for a high-performance DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced startup environment and take charge of setting up build pipelines, managing deployments, and leading our DevOps processes from scratch.Role & Responsibilities CI/CD & Build Systems Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for syncOS and AMR software. Work with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and similar tools to streamline deployments. Automate build processes for Linux environments and containerized applications (Docker/Podman). Develop and maintain installation scripts for on-premise deployments. Containerization & Orchestration Deploy and manage services using Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and Podman. Optimize containerized workloads for robotic software applications. Infrastructure & Automation Set up and manage on-premise installations for Botsync’s syncOS software and AMR software. Work with Linux build systems to create efficient software pipelines. Team Management & Collaboration Lead and mentor a team of two Software Development Engineers (SDEs). Guide team members in DevOps best practices and Python coding. Collaborate with a global, fast-moving team, adapting to evolving requirements.Requirements 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Build & Deployment Strong expertise in Docker, Docker Compose, Podman, and Kubernetes Experience in Linux build systems & automation Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting Experience managing a small team (2-3 engineers) Ability to set up processes from scratch in a high-paced startup environment Willing to travel occasionally to SingaporeBenefits Competitive salary Comprehensive health benefits package Hustle of a young startup – always something to do and something to improve Work with robots in real-life use cases running 24/7 with 99% up time Opportunities for professional development and growth into leadership roles Collaborative and inclusive work environment Global team
