Description:About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented Import Specialist to manage and oversee all import operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities while maintaining compliance with import regulations.Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end import documentation and clearance processes.- Coordinate with international vendors, shipping lines, and logistics partners.- Ensure compliance with customs laws, import licensing, and tariff requirements.- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.- Maintain accurate records of import transactions and vendor communications.- Liaise with finance and operations teams for payment processing and inventory planning.- Handle duties, taxes, and other regulatory filings related to imports.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field.- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in import operations.- Strong knowledge of customs procedures, documentation, and EXIM policy.- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
