About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams in adopting best-in-class AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement secure, scalable, high-availability architectures on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business and technical requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions.

- Lead cloud migration initiatives, including legacy application re-platforming or refactoring.

- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.

- Establish and implement DevOps pipelines for CI/CD using tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions.

- Evaluate and recommend AWS services and third-party tools to improve cost-efficiency, performance, and security.

- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards using AWS Identity & Access Management (IAM), CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and other governance tools.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and performance tuning.

- Support disaster recovery, backup, and failover strategies.

- Mentor and support development and DevOps teams in cloud best practices.

Technical Skillset :

Must-Have Skills :

Expertise in AWS services including but not limited to :

- EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, Route53, CloudFormation

- Strong understanding of networking concepts: DNS, Load Balancing, CDN, VPN, Subnets, Security Groups, NACLs

- Experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)

- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, CloudFormation

- Experience in DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git

Scripting knowledge: Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Knowledge of hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments (Azure/GCP)

- Exposure to Serverless architectures and microservices

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, ELK)

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional is strongly preferred
