The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in low-latency network environments and a deep understanding of core networking technologies. If youre passionate about optimizing performance, reducing latency, and working in fast-paced, tech-driven environments, this role is a great fit.Key Skills (Mandatory) :- Strong hands-on experience in Routing & Switching- Deep knowledge and practical experience with Cisco and Juniper network devices- Proficiency working in a Linux environment- Solid understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, etc.- Good understanding of network security concepts- Knowledge of low-latency network optimization (preferred)- Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.) is an added advantageRoles & Responsibilities :- Design, deploy, and maintain low-latency network infrastructure to support HFT operations- Monitor network performance and identify opportunities for optimization- Troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum throughput- Configure and manage Cisco and Juniper switches, routers, and firewalls- Work closely with trading, systems, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless network operations- Implement and maintain routing protocols for efficient and stable connectivity- Ensure network security through best practices, monitoring, and proactive threat mitigation- Support capacity planning and network scalability initiatives- Maintain documentation of network architecture, procedures, and configurations- Participate in on-call rotations and provide L2/L3 support as required (ref:hirist.tech)
