Description : About the Role :We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our organization's network infrastructure.You will play a critical role in ensuring network performance, security, and reliability across multiple sites.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network hardware, protocols, and security practices, and be able to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently.Key Responsibilities : - Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks to meet organizational needs.- Monitor network performance and ensure network availability and reliability.- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and access controls.- Troubleshoot network issues and outages, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to support network infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance.- Manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and proxies.- Develop and maintain network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.- Participate in capacity planning and recommend network enhancements.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and end-users when necessary.- Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices.Requirements : Experience : - 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.- Proven experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other major networking hardware.Technical Skills : - Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).- Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, and wireless access points.- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios).- Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
