Investment Associate

We are looking for Investment Associate, who will primarily work in deal origination and due diligence of potential investment opportunities (especially in the retail credit market). This is a client facing role.
Responsibilities:
- Research & analyse industries/sectors, and segments, & provide insights to the team to develop an investment strategy.
- Create financial models to evaluate prospective investment opportunities.
- Carry out market research through a review of third-party research reports, analyze market trends by conducting primary research.
- Assist the team in all matters related to deal closure, including deal documentation, finance documentation, and structuring.
- Review legal contracts, including financing / investment documentation, identify areas of transaction risk, and suggest potential mitigation strategies, as part of the deal team.
- The candidate will also meet and engage actively with financial institutions and external agencies.
- Assist in other organizational matters as required from time to time.
Qualifications & Years of Experience:
- Chartered Accountant with minimum experience of two year
- The candidate should be proficient in Excel. Excellent communication (written & verbal)
- Interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills, including financial modelling, with expertise in making detailed models in MS Excel
- Collaborate effectively with others, including senior managers and external parties.
