- As an Assistant Manager in GCC Taxation / US, you will play a crucial role in preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns, managing tax provisions, and overseeing tax team activities.

- This role demands a strong understanding of US tax provisions, real estate tax returns, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns and work papers for partnerships, S corporations, and individuals.

- Handle extensive experience in rental and real estate tax returns.

- Prepare tax provision schedules and consolidate them.

- Review financial statements, evaluate errors, and prepare AJEs (Adjusting Journal Entries).

- Understand partnership agreements and allocations.

- Review real estate transactions, including 1031 exchanges and gain allocations.

- Manage tax team members in preparing components of the company's US federal income tax returns and other tax documents.

- Plan and develop overall return calendar, coordinating timing and inputs with the tax team.

- Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax processes.

- Gather materials regarding tax tables, instructions, and forms to accurately calculate taxes.

- Inform clients of necessary paperwork and documentation for accurate tax form completion.

- Review financial statements, expenses, and previous tax returns to strategize for future returns.

- Prepare process notes, training materials, and train team members with continuous updates and Skills:

- Understanding of US tax provisions, tax laws, and tax compliances.

- Strong accounting and analytical skills.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

- A high degree of professionalism, client confidentiality, and personal conduct.

- Ability to train team members.

- Self-starter with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

- Detail-oriented with strong attention to detail and multitasking Minimum 4 years of US Tax experience in partnerships (RREs) and individual tax returns.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Lacerte.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in accounting/finance.

- Fully or part-qualified CPA/ACCA/CA (desirable but not required)
