We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications and integrating with front-end technologies. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver robust software solutions.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.- Build scalable APIs and backend services for web and mobile applications.- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.- Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.- Implement data storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases.- Conduct code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose enhancements to improve the tech stack.Requirements :- 2 to 6 years of experience in Node.js development.- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.- Experience with frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or similar.- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and WebSocket APIs.- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Redis.- Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP).- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.- Understanding of security and data protection principles.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.Preferred / Plus Skills :- Experience with front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.- Knowledge of microservices architecture.- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, or Chai.- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (ref:hirist.tech)
