Job Summary

The Director, IT Cloud Infrastructure will manage a geographically diverse team of systems engineers to provide cutting edge, reliable infrastructure and services to customers in Greenway’s environments. Prepare the team and Greenway to transition to and support a multi-Cloud environment while supporting the legacy environments. Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely resolution of 3rd party issues and ensure a good experience to Greenway customers. As a People Leader at Greenway Health, this position will be expected to provide proactive and real-time coaching and feedback to team members and demonstrate the Greenway competencies to include the Leadership Competencies of Care for Yourself, Care for Others and Care for our Brand. This role will have matrix reporting responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with Global VP.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· This role leads Service Provisioning, Application Support & Database operations across various products and solutions. As a leader in India, will be responsible towards hiring, retaining, growing the team of technically diverse employees.

· Technology Leadership: Lead our IT Infrastructure team, driving technology transformation initiatives for Compute, Storage, and strategic projects like IaaS, PaaS, AI/ML, and DevOps.

· Collaborate and align with Global Business leaders to define the vision, strategy, and technical roadmap of each solution, and uphold the highest levels of uptime and enforcement of SLA’s.

· Lead a team of engineers supporting multiple teams that are provisioning, monitoring, and supporting infrastructure components for our platforms 24/7

· Cloud Strategy: Develop and execute Greenway Health's Cloud strategy, Building the team, emphasizing standardization, virtualization, and automation for enhanced performance and efficiencies including cost.

· Enhance team competencies to support discrete DB technologies, DevOps Skills, SRE best practices, Terraform/ansible skills towards automation, establish partnership with other cross-functional leads across Application, infrastructural and Development teams.

· Manage upgrades of Greenway proprietary software in the hosted environments.

· Manage the IT budget, monitor execution, and report on budget status against the plan.

· Establish a culture of high performance, transparency, and continuous improvement as it relates to the infrastructure services and streamlining of the hosted environment.

· Interoperate with other organizations throughout the company, including R&D, QA, Support, and CEM.

· Manage multiple technical projects simultaneously across various platforms and groups.

· Constantly seek opportunities to streamline existing processes by introducing automation, tools, or infrastructure to scale the business.

· Manage vendor relationships for managed services, and other 3rd party providers.

· Provide cross-platform feedback into development on hosting improvements.

· Design and implement methods which consolidate and optimize operations across the platforms.

· Deliver top-notch infrastructure engineering solutions, emphasizing automation, continuous improvement, and preventive maintenance to ensure system stability.

· Evaluate and manage vendor partnerships, including negotiations for IT-related procurements.

· Regularly review and audit the performance of System Integrators and OEM partners.

· Work closely with the security team to deploy secure IT Infrastructure for both internal and customer projects.

  • · Coordinate with the Disaster Recovery Manager to implement policies and procedures for Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery.


Experience & Skills


· Education: Engineering in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience

· Experience: 15-20 years of overall IT experience, with a proven track record in leading large IT teams

· Infrastructure Automation: Strong understanding and experience with DevOps technologies like Terraform, Chef, Ansible, and Python.

· Storage and Networking: Proficiency in Storage Area Network (SAN), high availability, and disaster recovery architecture.

· ITIL Service Management: Background in ITIL service management, including configuration, change, and incident management, capacity management, performance management, and disaster recovery.

· Technical Skills: Solid technical background in Linux/Unix, web technologies, networking, database technologies, storage management (SAN and NAS), x86 server technologies, and other relevant IT infrastructure components.

· Cloud Expertise: Proven experience with cloud-based service delivery, compliance standards (e.g., SSAE 16 SOC2, PCI, ISO 27001, HIPAA), and Cloud Monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch.

· Monitoring and Analysis: Familiarity with infrastructure and application monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Opsgenie, Graylog, ELK stack.

· AWS Knowledge: Working experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the ability to manage projects with zero downtime, high performance, and managed costs

· Technical Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and apply them to solving business challenges.

· Process-Oriented: Ability to define and measure KPIs and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Team Management: Proven ability to manage large teams, with a focus on SCRUM methodologies and cost/efficiency improvement.

· Certifications: Preferred certifications include AWS, GCP, AZURE, MCSE, RHCE, ITIL.

· Leadership: Strong problem-solving skills, Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills, Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
