We’ve grown sales 3x in the last 12 months and served more than 30,00,000 customers.Role Brief :This role demands a candidate with a strong foundation in legal principles, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to assist in managing contracts, litigation, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters effectively in a dynamic business environment.Roles and Responsibilities:- Prepare and review a variety of commercial contracts, including NDAs, manufacturing agreements, vendor agreements, service agreements, and other business-related documents. - Assist in drafting and reviewing responses to legal notices, plaints, written statements and support dispute resolution processes. Coordinate with external counsels on litigation matters and ensure timely updates and follow-ups and maintain the litigation tracker. - Support the filing and management of trademarks, copyrights, and patents to ensure all intellectual property of the company are safeguarded. - Provide legal support on new product launches, collaborations, and campaigns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws (FSSAI, AYUSH, ASCI, Consumer Protection, etc.). - Maintain organized and updated records of executed contracts, legal opinions, and other relevant documents. - Assist in researching and reviewing new legal and regulatory developments to ensure compliance. - Liaise with authorities for compliance queries, show-cause responses, and regulatory submissions. - Lead periodic training sessions for internal teams on compliance and contractual awareness.Basic Qualifications and required skill-set:- Graduate in law with a legal experience of 4-5 years working in a law firm or in a corporate legal department as an in-house counsel preferably in the FMCG industry. - Willingness to stay updated on evolving legal and regulatory landscapes and apply learnings in the organization. - Partner with business, marketing, and operations teams to proactively identify legal risks and provide pragmatic solutions. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across teams. - Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
