Job Title: Direct Sales Manager – IT SoftwareLocation:Delhi / NCR Experience Required:4–5 Years Industry:IT / Software SalesAbout the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedDirect Sales Managerto drivesoftware solution salesdirectly toGovernment, Defence, and PSU clients. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of enterprise software solutions, government procurement processes, and strong connects within government departments and ministries.Key Responsibilities: Drivedirect salesof software solutions toGovernment, PSU, and Defence customers. Identify and pursuenew business opportunitieswithin the government and public sector ecosystem. Manage theend-to-end sales cycle— from lead generation, RFP participation, proposal submission, to closure. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers inGovernment Ministries, Departments, and PSUs. Work closely withpre-sales and technical teamsto align customer needs with product offerings. Develop and executestrategic account plansto achieve assigned sales and revenue targets. Stay informed aboutgovernment IT initiatives, tenders, and procurement processes. Provide regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline to management.Required Qualifications & Skills: Education:B.Tech / B.E. withMBA. Experience:4–5 years of experience inSoftware Sales / IT Solution Sales. Proven experience inDirect Sales to Government, Defence, and PSU customers. Strong network and connections withGovernment Ministries, Departments, and PSUs. Excellentpresentation, communication, and negotiationskills. Good understanding ofgovernment e-procurement systemsand tendering processes. Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.Key Attributes: Highlypresentable and confident communicator. Strong relationship management and networking abilities. Strategic thinker with aresult-oriented approach.
