Job Title: Proposal Engineer (Mechanical / Environmental Engineering)About the Role:We are seeking a motivated Proposal Engineer with experience in Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP). The role involves preparing preliminary cost estimates, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation during the proposal stage of treatment plant projects.Scope of Work:- Prepare preliminary technical and commercial estimates for WTP, STP, and ETP during proposal and bidding phases - Develop detailed BOQs and pre-tender estimates - Assist in compiling complete tender documentation - Coordinate with internal engineering and sales teams to gather required inputs - Support senior engineering staff in the preparation of techno-commercial proposals - Ensure compliance with technical standards and client specificationsQualifications:- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in: - Mechanical Engineering - Environmental Engineering - Electrical Engineering (with relevant experience)Experience:- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a Water Treatment company - Strong understanding of treatment plant process design, costing, and estimation - Familiar with industry standards and proposal documentation requirementsKey Skills:- Estimation and costing of WTP/STP/ETP systems - BOQ preparation and interpretation of drawings/specifications - Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components used in water treatment - Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and estimation software tools
