Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Golang to support the CIS.
  • Implement RESTful APIs to enable communication between front-end applications and backend services.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality, reliable software.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the development team.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, addressing any issues proactively.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and the overall quality of the application.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of concurrency and parallelism in Golang.
  • Familiarity with database systems, such as PostgreSQL and Oracle, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of message brokers and event-driven architectures is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve backend issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git, preferably using GitHub.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Relevant certifications in Golang or backend development are a plus.
