Learning and Development Manager

About the Role:
As a Senior Manager - Learning and Development, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of L&D professionals to deliver innovative and impactful learning solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping the organization's L&D strategy and ensuring its alignment with business objectives. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of adult learning principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the overall L&D strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop targeted L&D solutions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize L&D initiatives and secure necessary resources.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives and business leaders.
- Proactively identify client needs and develop customized L&D solutions.
- Manage client expectations and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of L&D professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance.
Solution Design and Delivery:
- Design, develop deliver innovative L&D solutions, including training programs, e-learning courses, and coaching initiatives.
- Oversee the production of high-quality training materials and ensure consistency in delivery.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programs and recommend improvements.
Operational Excellence:
- Manage the L&D budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of L&D initiatives.
- Stay up to date with the latest L&D trends and technologies.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Leverage data and analytics to measure the impact of learning programs.
- Identify trends and insights to inform future learning initiatives.
- Use LMS data to track learner progress and engagement.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all learning activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on training outcomes and ROI.
- Comply with relevant regulatory and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in human resources, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- 20+ years of experience in L&D, with a proven track record of delivering successful L&D initiatives.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Experience in managing large-scale L&D projects.
- Strong understanding of learning technologies and e-learning platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for learning and development and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Salary: 12-15 LPA based on last drawn salary
Location: Sikandrabad, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh
