We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Insurance Underwriter to join our team. As a SME Insurance Underwriter you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our SME business. You should have excellent English language skills, in-depth knowledge of Fire, Engineering, Group Medical, Medical, Liability and other similar insurance products, and a proven track record in negotiating the best rates with the Insurer.


Responsibilities:

  • Create Request For Quotes for all the SME Insurance Products.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and provide expert guidance to potential Corporate regarding suitable SME insurance options.
  • Create Rapport with Insurers to get the best rates for clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and assistance for any claim or underwriting queries.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional SME insurance products and services to existing clients.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' offerings to effectively position our insurance products.
  • Collaborate with the Lead generation team to provide them insights on products.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Insurance Underwriting, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SME insurance products, including different coverage options, policies, and regulations.
  • Freshers looking to build career in Insurance are also welcome
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills, with the ability to build rapport with Insurers and establish trust with clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset, self-motivated.
  • Licentiate in Insurance.
  • Possess relevant certifications or licenses in insurance.
