This is not a wait for inbound roleyou will prospect, open doors, and close deals with speed and creativity, while helping shape how AI transforms the legal tech market.Role Overview:- We're hiring a Business Development & Sales Manager (Hunter) who thrives on outbound motion, builds their own pipeline, and lands high-value enterprise customers. You will:- Prospect relentlesslyidentify, reach out, and convert new in-house legal teams and corporate counsel into customers.- Own and exceed aggressive sales targets, from first touch to signed contract.- Build repeatable playbooks for outbound campaigns, demos, and deal-closing strategies.- Work hand-in-hand with product and engineering to sharpen AI taste, shape demos, and deliver proof-of-value during pilots.- Evangelize LegalGraph to GCs, legal ops, and decision-makersbuilding urgency and confidence in adopting AI-powered legal workflows.- Report directly to founders and set the pace for revenue growth.What Youll Do:- Hunt & close: Build and own your pipelineoutreach, cold calls, LinkedIn, conferences, and creative angles to get in the door.- Scale aggressively: Take us from 10 to 100+ customers in the next phase of growth.- Drive urgency: Shorten sales cycles by tailoring demos, ROI calculators, and objection-handling to each buyer.- Shape GTM motion: Create outbound cadences, refine messaging, and experiment with channels to maximize conversion.- Stay close to product: Roll up your sleeves with engineering and product to fine-tune AI-powered pilots and customer evaluations.- Be the face of LegalGraph: Pitch at conferences, host webinars, and make noise in the market.What You Have (Mandatory):- 4+ years of B2B enterprise sales or BD experience with strong outbound DNA.- JD degree with deep experience in understanding legal in house function- Proven track record of building pipelines and closing net-new enterprise deals ($100K+ ARR).- Experience selling into legal buyers (in-house counsel, corporate legal ops, law firms) or complex enterprise SaaS.- Relentless prospectorcomfortable with cold outreach, networking, and creating your own opportunities.- Curiosity about AI and legal techyou dont need to be an engineer, but youre eager to learn enough to run sharp demos and customer pilots.- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup, where structure is light but expectations are high.Bonus Points:- Legal tech or CLM sales experience.- Early-stage startup experience (0 1 or 1 100 scaling).- Track record of beating quota in a hunter role.- Familiarity with compliance and data privacy frameworks (GDPR, Competitive comp in line with early-stage startups (salary $120k + 25% target specific bonus + equity).
