Description : As a member of our Technology team, your day will be all about problem-solving and building. You'll design, develop, and maintain systems that power Meritto, working with cutting-edge tools to create solutions that scale and innovate. Each line of code you write makes a tangible difference in how we deliver value to our users. We are looking for a senior web engineer to join our dynamic development team. The role will involve developing and maintaining our software products, The incumbent should have exposure to scrum methodology and work closely with the product owners. As part of the backend engineering team, you'll work directly with engineers in a dynamic, open environment, employing the latest techniques and best practices in back-end engineering, and utilizing the best-in-class tools and frameworks building a highly distributed, scalable, and enterprise-class SaaS platform.Job Description : - Design, build and maintain efficient backend features in PHP. - Should be able to Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules. - Creative thinking backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Should have good experience with databases like MySQL. - Strong knowledge of OOPS and how to apply it in application code is a must. - Should be comfortable working in the Linux Environment. - Understanding of Code versioning tools like GIT. - Front-End development with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON and Bootstrap.What were looking for : - Minimum 2 years of experience developing web applications and deep understanding of modern PHP standards. - Graduation required : B.E/B.tech or MCA or diploma in IT/Computer Science. - Candidates who have worked on SaaS products will be preferred. - Good knowledge of design patterns. - Redis, RabbitMQ, Angular, Node.js experience is preferred. - Focused on code quality and high development standards. - Willing to adopt test-driven development techniques. - Strong teamwork, co-ordination, and planning, self-driven, and ability to work at pace in a dynamic organization.
