Capgemini Engineering is looking for Oracle BI Consultant.


Responsabilities :

  • Person will carry-out hands-on work design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, and provide support during regular hours and on call duty
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the products in the family
  • Supports the relationships with key software vendors, reviews their recommendations for lifecycle management
  • Works in partnership with Product Manager and Area Managers to deliver the technical and functional requirements
  • Work together following the Product Manager's guidance
  • Regular support and new use cases development on industry 4.0 initiatives
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization
  • Incident Management and Troubleshooting
  • Documentation and Training
  • Development and support of Analytics, Power BI and Azure IoT applications


Requirements :

  • Proficiency in tools like Oracle BI (primary), Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or D3.js is crucial.
  • Required to have a good understand of their capabilities, limitations, and best practices for creating effective visualizations.
  • A good understanding of statistical methods and techniques is essential for interpreting data and creating meaningful visualizations. This includes knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, etc.
  • Skills in data manipulation using tools like SQL, Python, or R are valuable. Should be able to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to prepare it for visualization.
  • The ability to understand complex datasets and identify patterns, trends, and outliers is crucial. Should be able to translate business requirements into actionable insights through visualizations.
  • Understanding UX principles is important for creating visualizations that are intuitive, user-friendly, and effectively communicate the intended message to the audience.
  • Skills in storytelling with data are essential for conveying insights and influencing decision-making. This includes knowing how to structure visualizations to tell a coherent and compelling story.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and best practices for ensuring data security is important, especially when dealing with sensitive or confidential information.
  • A keen awareness of best practices, and regulations pertaining to manufacturing industry and Critical Infrastructure protection.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience and a good proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
