Job Title: Operations Head.

Location: Gurgaon.

Reports To: CEO/Managing Director.

Job Summary:.

- The Operations Head will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, which specializes in wealth management and mutual fund distribution.

- The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excel in people management, be a natural troubleshooter, a mentor to the team, and have a keen eye for business development opportunities within the wealth management sector.

Key Responsibilities:.

Operational Strategy and Planning:.

- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's objectives, with a focus on wealth management and mutual fund distribution.

- Lead the planning and execution of operational initiatives to drive efficiency and scalability in the AI/FinTech environment.

Leadership and People Management:.

- Provide strong leadership to the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.

- Manage, mentor, and develop staff to build a motivated, skilled, and high-performing team.

- Conduct regular performance reviews, offering constructive feedback and career development opportunities.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:.

- Act as the primary troubleshooter for operational issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution.

- Analyze operational challenges and develop strategic solutions to prevent recurrence.

- Anticipate potential problems and implement preventative measures to ensure smooth operations.

Business Development:.

- Collaborate with business development teams to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the wealth management and mutual fund distribution sectors.

- Provide operational insights that support the company's strategic business objectives.

- Assist in the evaluation and integration of new business ventures or partnerships.

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth execution of projects and initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:.

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to align operational goals with overall business objectives.

- Support business development efforts by providing operational insights and support.

Reporting and Analysis:.

- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

- Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:.

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the wealth management or FinTech industry.

Key Skills:.

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience as a mentor and ability to guide team members in their professional development.

- Strategic mindset with a focus on business development, particularly in wealth management.

- Strong knowledge of operational processes, systems, and best practices in the financial services sector.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.

- Proficiency in using operational management software and tools, with familiarity in AI-driven solutions.

Preferred Skills:.

- Experience in wealth management, mutual fund distribution, or FinTech operations.

- Knowledge of financial regulations, certifications, or standards relevant to the industry.
