Purchasing Analyst

Position: Purchasing Analyst

Duration: Long Term Contract

Location: Remote - half coverage of EST daily

Rate: $8 - $10/hr USD

*must be available to start a new opportunity within 2 weeks*

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of experience within IT purchasing and IT Buyer
• Experience within various IT categories:
• Software- specific experience purchasing Software
• Experience managing large/complex contractors & projects
• Managing full lifecycle of contracts
• Excellent negotiating & problem solving skills
• Excellent soft skills as well as reporting skills
• Fluent in English

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Purchasing Analyst to join the team of one of its largest Automotive OEM clients headquartered in Metro Detroit, MI. This person can either sit remotely in India but must be able to work daily until 12pm est. This person must be fluent in English, and have great soft skills. They will be supporting the Purchasing organization of the client working within specific domains around software.

• Specific Responsibilities:
• Procurement Management: Purchase IT equipment, software, and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with Company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT contract entitlements.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the lifecycle of IT contracts, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to understand their needs and provide procurement support.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance to senior management
